Yoga to me means connecting the mind, breath and body to create a more present life. It’s where I connect with myself and others. It’s where I face my fears, pains and discomfort and watch them transform and grow. Yoga strengthens me to become more resilient going through life in equanimity. I love yoga because not only it helps me stay fit and flexible, but it also cracks my shell open so the more authentic self can emerge.
My intention when I teach is to show students that nothing is impossible. Our bodies are adaptable vessels that will take you places and do things beyond our limiting beliefs. With consistency and dedication, we develop the strength to handle anything that comes our way and every day we step on the mat, we experience change towards our highest potential.
