I was first introduced to yoga at a local gym in 2007, I immediately fell in love with its physical aspect and have been practicing since. I enjoy the mind-body connection and most of all the spiritual aspect of yoga. Through my years of practice, I learned yoga has a way of permeating so much deeper than the external, and the spiritual side of the practice is what kept me in my practice. Yoga has helped me in all areas of my life; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Aside from helping me get my body back after only after months of giving birth to my first child, it has also helped me get off medication for TMJ syndrome, tension headaches, stress, anxiety, and depression. Because the practice has given me so much more than physical strength and openness, I believe yoga is a gift which should be shared with everyone. After a few years I decided to take teacher training in 2012 and 2015 received two 200 hour yoga teacher certification. Teaching yoga has been a huge part of my life ever since, where not only do I enjoy sharing the practice and meeting beautiful souls, it has also brought me tremendous growth and self-love. I believe yoga can help anyone who applies the practice into their daily routine change unhealthy patterns, and replace them with new healthy patterns. It all starts with the mind, one breath at a time. Come practice!
