1. Arrive on Time
- Please arrive early to allow time for check-in, putting away your belongings, and setting up your mat and props.
- The studio opens 30 minutes before class; doors will be locked at class time.
2. Leave Cell Phones Outside the Room
- Digital distractions are disruptive. Yoga is a chance to disconnect and be fully present.
- Avoid bringing your phone to class. If you’re expecting an urgent call or message, consider skipping class and returning when you can focus fully.
3. Maintain Personal Hygiene
- Good hygiene is essential in the intimate setting of a yoga class.
- Wear clean clothes and deodorant and bring a clean mat and towel. Avoid strong perfumes, oils, lotions, and colognes as these scents travel easily and can be overwhelming.
4. Respect the Space
- Yoga is practiced barefoot or with socks to maintain studio cleanliness and respect the space.
- Leave your shoes and personal belongings in the designated cubbies.
- Wipe up any sweat that has accumulated around your mat so that the next class will have a clean floor for their set up.
5. Maintain Silence Before and After Hot 26 Classes
- Silence is golden in Hot 26. This time is for reflection, self-study, and focus.
- Maintaining a quiet atmosphere helps everyone get the most out of their practice.
6. Stay for the Entire Class
- If you must leave early, inform your teacher beforehand, position yourself near the door, and exit quietly to minimize disruption for other students.
- If leaving early becomes a habit, you will be asked to choose a different class that better fits your schedule.
By following these guidelines, you contribute to a respectful and harmonious environment where everyone can fully benefit from their yoga practice. Thank you for your cooperation!
