“Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly.” -Mae West
Each Slow Flow class is creatively different with one exception; the pace is slow. Moving at a slower pace allows for more time to focus on alignment, breath, and how the body transitions from one pose to the next. The challenge of this style is hidden in the stillness. The willingness to hold potentially challenging shapes in our bodies is an exercise for the mind as well. The slower pace also creates optional opportunities for exploration and play with arm balances and inversions. While creative choreography, music, and community make this style fun it also provides an occasion to marry mental focus, physical strength, and breath.
Our instructors provide personalized guidance suitable for all levels, ensuring a nurturing and mindful experience.
