April 16th, 11:15 AM – 12:45 PM, $30 per person, $45 both workshops
Kundalini Yoga is the original and most ancient branch of Yoga. Kundalini Yoga raises your energy levels, or shakti, and energy awareness. During this class you will learn a brief history and philosophy of Kundalini Yoga. You will experience a dynamic class combining pranayama (breath work), chanting, mantras, music, and meditation all to open your heart, and increase your physical vitality and individual consciousness. The class will quiet your mind and open your chakras to allow energy to flow freely in the body while balancing the mind, body and spirit. Kundalini teaches you the art of relaxation, self-healing, and self-discovery, and nurtures awareness of our spiritual self. There will be time at the end of class to ask questions and share. The class is open to beginners or those with a long-time practice.

This glorious sound healing meditation uses singing bowls, chimes, and other vibrating sounds.
BodyAwake Yoga workshop WITH SARAH FULTON
May 7th, 1:00 – 3:00 PM, $40 per person
BodyAwake Yoga anchors consciousness deep in the core of the body through asana, breathwork and conscious energy flow, awakening a greater sense of Self and the sensation of “coming home” to the true, authentic You. In this workshop/class combo, we will discuss energy anatomy and bioenergetics, introduce techniques to connect with these aspects of ourselves, and conclude with a BodyAwake Yoga flow integrating all of it. You will leave having had the opportunity to tune into and embody the energy that animates you, and with tools to apply to all of your yoga practices going forward.
