
I was introduced to hot yoga in my college years, and from there I was hooked. Every city I lived in, I sought it out. I eventually came to a work-study at Bikram Williamsburg which was a great opportunity to really dive deep in my practice. I love the structure of Hot 26, it is my go to, my practice. It is a great way to check in with my body, posture, alignment and breathing. If I can keep my calm in a hot room doing yoga poses I can do anything! Although COVID has challenged every facet of life for most of the population, it did provide me a new way to go to teacher training. I studied with Ida Ripley and Aaron Thomas virtually and I was able to accomplish a bucket list life goal: to teach yoga! It is said that to truly understand a subject, you have to be able to teach it, so through teaching I am deeping my practice while connecting with our community. I find satisfaction in teaching something that truly does help others feel better, be healthier. That way we can all show up to the world better than we were before. I love to teach
