My journey with yoga began in 2019 at Horizon Hot Yoga during a season of my life when I felt disconnected from my body, my confidence, and my overall well-being. What started as a personal search for healing evolved into a complete transformation — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Through a dedicated yoga practice, I lost over 100 pounds, restored my health, overcame struggles with anxiety and self-confidence, and discovered a deeper sense of balance and purpose. Yoga became far more than movement; it became the foundation for rebuilding my life.
In 2022, I earned my 200-hour yoga teacher certification, followed by my 330-hour Original 26 & 2 certification in 2026. In November 2024, I had the privilege of becoming a co-owner of Horizon Hot Yoga — the very studio where my own transformation first began.
Today, my mission is to cultivate an elevated and welcoming space where students can reconnect with themselves, strengthen both body and mind, and experience meaningful transformation from the inside out. I believe yoga should feel empowering, accessible, and deeply restorative, whether someone is stepping into their first class or deepening an established practice.
What I value most about this work is witnessing people rediscover their confidence, resilience, and sense of possibility. The community I found through yoga changed my life, and it is an honor to now hold space for others as they begin their own journey.
Originally from Indianapolis, I grew up in Chicago, and spent 7 years living in Aspen, Colorado. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2007 with a degree in Political Science.
