Jeannie found yoga in 2007 after the birth of her daughter. She had gained over 40 lbs. during her pregnancy, and tried everything to lose the weight. It wasn’t until she started practicing yoga that the pounds began to melt off. What started as an intense physical workout, eventually evolved into something much deeper.
A teacher once told her that yoga is about strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility. She said, “Whatever you struggle with in life, you will also struggle with on the mat”. Those words still resonate with her today.
A lover of group fitness, Jeannie holds a 400-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification, as well as a Y4C™ (Yoga 4 Cancer) certification. She is also an Advanced Pilates and Barre instructor and a certified Schwinn ® Indoor Cycling Teacher.
