My journey took flight when my passion betrayed me. As an endurance runner and certified coach, I needed to find a way to honor my body on my off days. My heart and body found Yin and I never looked back. Yoga strengthens and lengthens you each time you step on your mat. As I practiced Yin for many years I felt my body and soul healing itself from the inside out. Tight…opened; short…lengthened; sore…restored; and my soul…awakened. I shared these experiences with my runners who sought cross training to pounding pavement or injury prevention. The joy I found sharing asanas with runners led me to seek my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Teaching Sculpt combines power and grace as we flow vinyasa into muscle conditioning. Yoga strengthens and calms your body and mind. Each practice differs from the last. Finding peace with that dichotomy defines yoga. We continue to practice to accept our body, calm our soul and open our heart.
