After struggling with my weight for 30+ years and having tried every type of exercise program and diet under the sun, I finally found what worked for my body with hot yoga in 2019. I fell in love and began practicing 5-6 days per week. I found that it not only helped with weight loss, but began to ease my depression and anxiety, helped me gain self-confidence, and introduced me to a community of people that have become some of my very best friends. After 3 years of consistent practice and having lost 85 pounds, I decided it was time to get my teaching certification and share my love for hot yoga professionally. I earned my 200-hr Yoga Alliance certification in February 2022 and now teach Vinyasa, power, and slow flow formats.
